I knew you were there..

(Video credits to the owner)

For the past few months I had been grieving for the loss of my mama (and still am..) while dealing with a mryiad of workload.  And now that I am halfway done, I've been spending my weekends taking a break including watching movies in the comforts of my home sweet home.  Then I came across with an article posted in Facebook that had something to do about 10 best romantic movies.  When I checked, the movie entitled, "An Affair to Remember" was not even there!  Albeit my other favorite romantic film, "The Notebook" was listed in the article but it just didn't seem right that the movie of one of my most adored actresses, Annette Bening, wasn't!  (By the way, we have the same birthday!)

I'm sure I have a copy of the original version of the movie but I don't like it as much as I do with the 1994 version.  Since I was too lazy to check my external drive and watch again the entire film, I just settled for 3-5-minute unforgettable scenes in You Tube (why don't they just post the full movie so I can watch it?!).  And mind you, I've been watching the final scene for countless times already while writing this post!

Click the video link above to see why I'm so into it right now.. ;)

Gear Up Your Note 3 Promo, a hoax?

I made a quick trip to SM North yesterday during lunch break and due to limited time, I proceeded directly to Samsung shop and immediately inquired on the Gear Up Your Note 3 promo which was posted on Facebook.

I was disappointed however when the salesgirl I talked to had no idea whatsoever on what I was inquiring about.  And when I checked Facebook post again this morning, there was one comment which also shared the same sentiment.  And going back to the mechanics of the promo quoted below:
2. This promo is available in all Samsung authorized stores nationwide.
something must have gone wrong somewhere, which prospective buyers like me are left confused and frustrated.I hope Samsung will do something to correct this inconsistency before October 28, 2013.

FYI, Samsung  is also offering free 6-month accidental phone damage coverage for those who are going to purchase the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on or before October 28, 2013.  Thus, buyers who are interested to avail both promos should get their credit cards ready on or before such date.

And by the way, speaking of credit cards, BPI and BDO are offering their credit card holders a "buy now, pay next year" scheme.  That means, payment will be deferred next year yet.  Isn't that, great?

But then, Samsung must fix the Gear Up Your Note 3 promo first. :(

Speaking of the... Z1!

Finally, Z1 is coming!

According to Sony Mobile Philippines' Facebook post (3 hours ago as of this writing), Sony Xperia Z1 will be available in stores nine days from now.  I'm getting excited!  Sad to say, I'm not as excited as I was before..

Z1 turns out to be cheaper than Samsung Galaxy Note 3 by P2,000 (USD46.51 at USD43 exchange rate).  To make the phone appealing, freebies and discounts might probably be offered on its launching day.  I guess I better decide now whether to grab the phone or learn again the lesson that I got from not taking the chance of purchasing the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 upon its launching, which by the way, could have saved me by as much as P4,000 (USD93.02).

Nonetheless, I have nine days to think about it..

Help!

I don't know what happened.  But I guess, it all started when I linked my Facebook account to my yahoo account just a few weeks ago.  I was glad I did that because now, I get to check FB updates straight from my Yahoo account.  On the other hand, long before that, I had my mobile no. registered thru yahoo messenger so that, even when I am offline, I can still receive and retrieve messages from my cellphone.

However, I first noticed that something went wrong when i was awaken by a message alarm from my cellphone at around 4 o'clock in the morning.  It was from a classmate asking me, "Gising ka pa?" (Still awake?).  What a question... I was awaken just to be asked if I'm still awake? Hahaha!  I reread the message again and to my horror, she texted thru FB!  And it was not only from her that I got FB messages at wee hours of the morning... at DIFFERENT days.

Few days ago, another classmate teased me that he always see me online at FB.  Not only that, hubby commented that I was online in Yahoo when I was supposed to be mobile.  I swear, I signed out of my account PROPERLY.  This incident happened a number of times already, that's why I am little bit bothered.

It only means one thing:  I have been online ALL the time.  Why?  What have I done? Will somebody explain what's going on?

What a Year It Was!

A number of memorable moments in my life happened in 2010.  These include, but not limited to, the following: favorable decision for my marriage annulment, my recent enrollment  in school, my visits to Ocean Park and Enchanted Kingdom (hehehe!), and other chapters of my life that are too personal to mention here.

Since I consider this blog as my online diary, I am planning that, one of these days, if and when I'm not busy, I will try to document here some of those significant moments I mentioned, although it might already be too late as 2011 is already kicking in.  Nevertheless, I will still TRY to do it.

For a start, instead of uploading pictures to my facebook account, I will just utilize this blog for that purpose.

What a nice new year's resolution.  Will I be able to do it?  Actually, I doubt it.  But as they say, there's no harm in trying... ;)
